MISSION:

Snapshot Voyager is about my own personal photography journey. I am always looking to try something new, inquisitive as to how it works, and to the end results I might achieve.

Simple

Sometimes simple shots are the ones that work.  Here’s a shot of a lamp and sky in Napanee taken with the D2X and Nikon 55mm f1.2.  The shot isn't that complicated, but as a photo it certainly works well, as the hint of wispy clouds balance out the lamp.

I make it a practice to remove as much of the clutter from a photo as I can, whether it is moving things out the way, or using a shallow depth of field to blur out the background.  Simple is good.
