MISSION:

Snapshot Voyager is about my own personal photography journey. I am always looking to try something new, inquisitive as to how it works, and to the end results I might achieve.

The Quality of Film

I was reviewing some of my scanned film photos recently and realised that there is something about film that is difficult to replace.  I think one of the reasons is film grain - to me film grain is far more random in its patterning than the speckly qualities of digital noise, which I like better.  I also like the pastel, dreamy properties of these photos as well.

Here's a couple examples that would be hard to replicate on a digital camera.
