MISSION:

Snapshot Voyager is about my own personal photography journey. I am always looking to try something new, inquisitive as to how it works, and to the end results I might achieve.

Banister

Even mundane things can make an interesting photo with the right light and perspective.  The other day I was sitting at the top of our stairs, saw the potential with this shot and started shooting away.  The scene I imagined in my head came together on the screen.  I used the NEX with Leica 50mm f1.5 Summarit, shot at f1.5 and close to the 1m minimum focus distance.

This second one I tried to incorporate some compositional elements of the stair banister, the upstairs rail and the front door window
