A while back I shot this scene of grass around some tree
roots. I liked the look of the roots and
thought that by shooting the photo in black and white, it would enhance the
look of the photo. But it was not to
be. The tree roots and its immediate surroundings
were already almost totally monotonic, and taking away the green grass meant
that the roots were no longer framed, creating a very drab and boring photo. So in this instance, colour was the better
choice.
MISSION:
Snapshot Voyager is about my own personal photography journey. I am always looking to try something new, inquisitive as to how it works, and to the end results I might achieve.
