MISSION:

Snapshot Voyager is about my own personal photography journey. I am always looking to try something new, inquisitive as to how it works, and to the end results I might achieve.

Australia Trip

On a recent trip to Australia to see family I decided to take what I needed, but not too much camera gear.  I ended up taking the D600 with Tokina 17mm f3.5, Tamron 24-135mm f3.5-5.6 and Nikon 50mm; as well as the Fuji X100.  This package turned out to be pretty close as I ended up getting a reasonable amount of use out of everything I took.  Sometimes I wished for a little more macro, other times a little more tele, but realistically I covered over 95% of what I needed it for, so a good combination.
